Wortisbox, the intelligent cash register created by Lez Obambi

Created by the young Congolese Lez Obambi, Wortisbox is a smart cash register and a suite of applications that facilitate the management of a company’s activities.

Lez began his professional career in 2006 at the National Oil Company of Congo (SNPC) as a developer. Driven by the ambition to take control of a company, it created ESN, a digital services company (ESN), while changing employers for the Congolese subsidiary of the MTN telephony group.

In 2012, he moved to France to complete his MBA in strategy and consulting, and I co-created NOSIM, the leading intellectual property operator in France, Belgium and Canada offering telephone packages in Central Africa.

With this experience and knowledge of western and developing markets, he finally created Wortis at the end of 2014. In order to meet the needs of business leaders who want to manage their activities from a distance.

 

A management tool

Wortis contains all the data of a company. The box allows managers to access their company accounts from their phones or tablets and perform routine operations.

The box features: secure access, bar code access, 10-inch touchscreen, ticket printer, stock management, unlimited number of products and services, automatic data backup, customer and supplier management, real-time situation the company, remote checkout of the cashier, dashboard, possible management of several points of sale.

Wortis boxes are used in France and in some African countries. For Africa, Wortisbox makes it possible to catch up on management tools, promote the culture of receipts, help the informal sector to be structured, and improve traceability in trade.
