Gabon’s Aubameyang ends Bundesliga season as top scorer
Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has hailed Robert Lewandowski as the best scorer of the Bundesliga season. He ends the campaign on 31 goals at an average of one every 90 minutes.
Aubameyang was excellent for Dortmund this season, with the Gabon international boasting an average shot accuracy of 63%, while his link up play was also of a high standard as he laid on 26 chances for his team-mates
Aubameyang becomes the second African player to win the golden boot in Germany after Ghana’s Tony Yeboah achieved the feat twice whilst playing for Eintracht Frankfurt – in the 1992-93 season and the following year in the 1993-94 campaign.
