Born in Cameroon with account Mboa_237, the concept “African Trip” is gaining momentum. “Harold Joakim Fossouo, a 20-year-old student in the 3rd year of Logistics and Transportation in Douala, is launching a Snapchat account exclusively reserved for Cameroonians all over the world, so that they meet and discuss daily ‘News from their country’. A few months later, several other “African Trip” accounts were created (there are a little more than twenty currently: Babii225, Kwabo229, Taama223, Sunusnap221 …).

The purpose of the concept is to have a guest speaker who, thanks to the identifiers that the main snapchat administrator has provided him, will take care of the account, and will show his daily life for a duration of 24h . He must visit his city and answer the questions asked by the followers. Individuals who wish to take host can contact the administrators via Twitter, Facebook or by e-mail and obtain the management of the account for 24h. They myst meet the requirements set by the administrators.

African Trip allows to discover the daily life of young Africans all over the world, and to pass useful information to the community (advertisements …). This concept helps promoting the beauty of Africa !
