At a ceremony held on November 21, 2015 in Cotonou, Adine Ossebi was awarded the ASKE Trophy for Women’s Leadership. The latter is a pilot of the pan-African airline ASKY, with the largest network of destinations in West and Central Africa. Adine Ossebi, the first female captain at ASKY, received her “Leadership” Trophy from Reckya Madougou, former Minister of Benin.
The Women’s Leadership Trophy, organized annually by ASKE, recognizes the African woman who plays an important socio-economic, political, humanitarian and cultural role in her country and thus contributes to the development of the African continent. Created by regional institutions such as the ECOWAS Investment and Development Bank (BIDC), the West African Development Bank (BOAD) and the ECOBANK group, ASKY is the pan-African airline offering the largest choice of flights From its hub in Lomé (Togo) to West and Central Africa. It provides several scheduled daily flights to the rest of Africa, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia through its partnership with Ethiopian Airlines.
