Taxi Tacker is a mobile application designed to meet the challenge of insecurity in public transport in Abidjan, especially in taxis.
Régis Bamba, a young Ivorian entrepreneur of 27 years is the man behind this application. He is also the founder of Intelgeo a Ivorian startup specialized in the Cloud and the creation of solutions and mobile functions.
Taxi Tracker allows any holder of smartphones to follow and inform themselves in real time on their relatives traveling by taxi, simply by entering the number of the taxi in the application, which records the positioning and GPS coordinates of the travellers.
The startup intends to launch the application in other cities such as Lagos where the issue of safety in public transport is paramount. In the French-speaking world, she is already thinking of extending to Dakar where her solution can meet with a strong echo.
