Beginning of popularization of the Qelasy educational tablet in primary schools
The process of popularizing the Qelasy educational tablet in primary schools in Ivory Coast started in Abidjan at the Clouétcha public primary school (EPP) in Abobo (North) where there is a digital room equipped with about fifty Qelasy tablets.
Launched in 2014 by the Ivoirian entrepreneur Thierry N’Doffou, Qelasy is a digital binder for students, including books, textbooks digitized and rendered rich and interactive. It is a tool to improve and optimize teaching.
The tablet has an 8-inch display and a storage capacity of 16 GB. It is assembled in China and costs nearly 180,000 FCFA (275 Euros).
Thierry’s objective is to accompany the Ministry of National Education and Technical Education in its will to modernize the Ivorian school.
