Nigeria’s Akinwumi Adesina has been elected as the new president of the African Development Bank
Nigeria’s Akinwumi Adesina has been elected as the new president of the African Development Bank (AfDB) and will begin his tenure of the office on September, 1, 2015.
He over from Dr. Kaberuka, a national of Rwanda, who had been on the position since July 2005.
